Work! Work! Work!

Sorry, This is a short one...
I am still alive with my Trainee.
So, last week was Great!!! We keep on hearing scary stories and facts about our area.
Here's some of it,...
Our Apartment was robbed before, In the area that we live in a Woman was murdered in the road.
It is extremely dangerous at night in our area. There is no Street Lights, and It is hard to get a Tricycle at night. So Bro. Galang and I are doing our best to guard ourselves.
I still Love our Area!!!
Also, We changed our focused area, We decided to change our focused area, and that is Paco Roman... When I came to the area, they have 3 focused areas, and It was hard to manage, their Investigators are also not progressing. So, We decided to focus in the area where the Church and Active members live in. And We had a good success!!!
We found 6 New Investigators and 2 of them are really progressing. while the 4 others are in track.
We did a lot of Finding last Week. Finding is so much FUN!
I Love talking to People, I am glad that my Trainee also loves to talk to People.
More Great News!!! We are going to have 2 Baptisms this coming Saturday!!! Hurrah!
Bro. Galang and I are so excited for them!!! They are also excited for Saturday!
Spiritual Lesson for me last week was, "To be delighted in the Words of Isaiah"
-2 Nephi 11-25 (Read it)
Well, That is all for today...

Paco Roman (San Jose Zone) 4th Area

Hello Everyone!

Last Week was a blast!!!
Tuesday, We had our Mission Conference with our Special Guest,
President Russel M. Nelson and his wife...
Elder Bowen and his wife also joined our Mission Conference.
The Conference was a Wonderful Experience that I will never ever forget...
I wrote down the things that I learned. I am grateful to meet and shook the hand of an Apostle.
I am grateful that I was able to listen to his Counsels, Instructions, and Inspired Talk. I Love the blessings that he said before he end his talk.
That was truly an Apostolic Experience. That I will treasure for the rest of my life.
Friday, One Of Our Investigator, passed the Baptismal Interview.
Hurrah! I have been waiting for this time to happen, I knew that He was ready.
His name is Brian F. A referral of an Active Member.I can see the Spark of Christ's Light in his eyes when the Interviewer told him that he passed.
I have felt a warmth that slowly entered my heart and soul.
I am blessed that I taught Bro. Brian and shared him The Restored Gospel.
Sadly, Same Night, I received a call from our Mission Leaders that I am going to transfer tomorrow (Saturday)... Sad News...
Saturday, Yes!!! I got transferred... Emergency Transferred...
I think my last Zone loves me! Why?
Because I got transferred to my last Zone, (San Jose).
And I am now in Paco Roman Branch! (A really farm (ish) area.)
Transportation Fare here is so EXPENSIVE!!!
It is really far from my last area, (Moncada). My companion is a Short-Term Missionary, name's Brother Galang, He is from Tarlac City, He is 18 years old and He is currently waiting for his Mission Call.
Brother Galang is only 1 Week Old in the area, And this is the Challenge here.
He still doesn't know everyone here, the area, our investigators, recent converts, and less active members. So, We really need the help of The Branch Leaders and Members here.
The Branch is a cute Branch, Yesterday was my 1st Sunday here, the Church Attendance was 64 People.
The Branch Is lacking of Leaders, We don't have a Branch Mission Leader, No Gospel Principles Class, No Home Teachers, and Visiting Teachers.
Sounds like, This is a Big Work to be done here.
And I need your help! you can help me through your Wonderful Prayers!!!
Missionary Work is FUN!!! I Love It!!!
My Companion Is Wonderful! We get along really well.
We are already united as Companionship.
I will do my very best to train him and help him feel the Mission Spirit.
That Is All for today...

In Between...

This will be FASTTTT...
Our Week was 50% good and 50% bad...
My Trainee and I are still staying in our area.
Which is a Good thing for me...
We are still working hard, still finding New Investigators and luckily we found 4...
4 Wonderful People... They are all Awesome!
Our Weakness for last week was the Participation of the Members in Missionary Work. Our Lessons to Investigators with Members present decreased a little...
I think one of the reason was, The municipality of Moncada celebrated its Yearly Municipal Fiesta...
The whole Moncada was super busy the whole week.
That is why, our lessons to Recent Converts and Less Active members increased really high...
Still a Good week for us...
So, the 50% bad was all about...

SECRET! hahaha. I think I can't share it to you guys.
I am praying and hoping that this week will be well.
(Proverbs 3:5-6)
I Pray that you will have a Wondrous week!
Next Monday Again!!!
Tomorrow we will have our Mission Conference!!!
The Whole Phillipines Angeles Mission!!!
We have a Special Guest!!!
President Russel M. Nelson & his wife!!!
I am so excited!!!

Spiritual Week!

Hello Everyone!

Transfer Week is coming!!! It will be on the 10th of February.
I strongly believe that Elder Berdin and I will both stay on our area.
Haha, I am still finishing his training, and I still want to be with Elder Berdin for another transfer.
Anyway, Our week's highlight is the Baptism of our 2 Wonderful Investigators.
Bro. Alejandro and Sister Lady Rose... They got baptize last Saturday and confirmed as a member of the Church yesterday.
They we're really nervous to share their testimonies, but they overcame the fear to speak in front of us after their ordinance.
They shared a short and powerful testimony. I wrote their testimonies in a piece of paper. Brother Alejandro said that God showed him the right way, while sister Lady Rose said that She has been waiting and searching for the truth and was really grateful that she found it!
I love the, And we as missionaries and members of this branch will continue to minister to them.
Well, last Monday we contacted a media referral that lives really really far from our focused area. She's 19, A catholic and currently studying as a Nurse, She's really nice and she committed to be baptize on March.
But this morning, We received a text message from her that her mom won't allow her to change their religion.
Elder Berdin and I we're really devastated after reading the text, For we have felt her desire to follow the Savior's Example, and during the lesson, I can tell that She's feeling the Spirit. But I can't control her life, She has her own Agency, I am still grateful that Elder Berdin and I were able to share the message of the restoration of the Gospel to her and We were able to declare a voice of warning to her.
This Experience reminds me of the scripture verse in Helaman 12:1 that says:
And thus we can behold how false, and also the unsteadiness of the hearts of the children of men; yea, we can see that the Lord in his great infinite goodness dothbless and prosper those who put their trust in him.
Well, We have an Unsteady Heart, But if We hold on to what we know is right, and If we stand strong for our decisions in life, We will be set free. We will be happy. We will become what God wants us to become.
Also, one of the best moment last week was, When my Trainee and I were walking to one of our teaching appointment and suddenly we saw a young man sitting outside the gate of a house. I received a strong feeling that We should talk to the young man, So I told my Trainee that He should OYM the man. So He did, and while sharing the Gospel, We found out that he's 16 years old, and currently facing a Family Problem.
He asked us if we have time to talk to him about it.
What happens next was, We found ourselves teaching him, about God's Plan, about Families, and about the Savior.
He shared more of his life to us openly, and He was shedding in tears while sharing.
I tapped his back and gave him a little shoulder hug. He was comforted and received and assurance that everything will be well again.
That is part of our responsibilities as members and missionaries,
"To mourn with those that mourn"
I am Grateful that I am an official Minister. I am Grateful that The Holy Ghost is there to guide us.
That is all for today.
We'll You all take care!!!
(Advance Happy Valentines Day)
