Unplanned

Hello sa Lahat!

Well, Last week was really a fast one... There's a lot of things that happened last week! Too many to write...
Well, Last Wednesday was District meeting...
We learned a lot about Faith Essentials...
The following day was our Zone Interviews! Oh, It was wonderful!
Elder Naylor and I had so much Fun helping our missionaries prepare for the Interviews. The Area Books, CLS Books, and 72 hour kit bags were checked in the interviews.
Here's the names of the areas, and missionaries in our Zone,
Branch 8: Sister Tumala and Sister Hansen -Sister Training Leaders
Sta. Rosa: Elder Mielke (District Leader) and Elder Guia
Ward 6: Elder Quinzon (District Leader) and Elder Dela Cruz
Ward 4: Elder Neri and Elder Flores
Ward 1: Elder Faasavalu (District Leader) and Elder Singh
Ward 2: Sister Merwal and Sister Baer
Ward 5: Sister Funaki and Sister Pantila
Talavera A: Elder Mendoza (District Leader) and Elder Romualdo
Talavera B: Elder Daylosan and Elder Dala.
And of course,
Ward 3: Elder Naylor and Elder Ordejan -Zone Leaders
This is a great Zone! I love all the missionaries in our Zone.
They're like my little babies. hahaha. They're all wonderful!
Different individuals with different personalities and stories.

Also, Last Friday right after Weekly Planning, We had an exchanges with Elder Dela Cruz and Elder Quinzon.
I worked at their area with Elder Dela Cruz!!! (Elder Dela Cruz is one of Elder Mecham's batch coming here in the field)
It was a good exchanges! It was a successful day!!!
I was amazed at Elder Dela Cruz! He really did his best that day.
I told him that He deserves to be in this mission. He is one of the finest!
I have learned a lot from him that day. I am looking forward for his successes.

Saturday was wonderful! We had a Less Active Reactivation Activity in Ward 1.
They call it Ward Blitz! 7 companionship joined the activity.
It was a success!  Members and Missionary force is amazing!
There is great power for those that have great responsibilities!
Each companionship of missionaries was paired with 2 or 3 members.
It was really a good activity. Unity was built, and Charity was strengthened.

One of our Investigator got baptize last Saturday, around 6 pm.
Sister Rowena Galvan. She is Solid! She wants to set a good example to her Children. She have received a profound testimony of the Gospel.
She was in tears during her baptism. It's always awesome to witness this scenes.
My heart always melts...
It's good to be a missionary.

Sunday Night or last night was the best!!!
Around 7 pm We received a call from the Stake Leaders, and said that They need us for their Bishopric Training Meeting. We totally forgot that meeting.
So, Elder Naylor and I hurried to the stake, unplanned, unscheduled, and confused. Both of us haven't attended such meeting like this.
So, We both don't know what to do. They wanted us to present the status of Missionary Work in the Stake/Zone. So, We presented a power point that we already used in our SMC.
They cooked us really well with questions, comments, and corrections.
Elder Naylor and I felt bad for our report... In that moment, I remembered this words; "The Lord is my light, then why should I fear?"
That is actually my favorite hymn.
The meeting went well, I guess. We just need to prepare next time.
I think that's all for today...
One more good news! The Family that Elder Armatage and I baptized in my first area are getting sealed this 23rd. I am going to the Temple with them!!!
So Excited!
Thanks for reading...

With all my love:

I Love Cabanatuan!

Hello

Well, Today's gonna be a short one...
Last Tuesday we had our MLC or (Mission Leadership Council) in the Mission Home.
It was a wonderful experience! All the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders of this mission gathered together to talk about the mission, and etc.
We received a lot of information's and revelations from President and Sister Clark.
We delivered the messages that we heard from them to our Zone mates the next day.
Wednesday, We had our Zone Training Meeting. The Zone gathered around 10 a.m.
Elder Naylor and I with our Sister Training Leaders (Sis. Tumala and Sis. Hansen)
delivered everything that we received from our MLC.
Our Zone mates participated really well. Some shared good insights, and asked inspired questions.
After the Meeting, We had our PIZZA PARTY! wooohooo! It was way good!
Why do we have Pizza Party? Because last June, Our Zone got Standard Of Excellence (S.O.E) for Baptisms.
President and Sister Clark sent the Pizza's to us.
Our Zone happily feasted on it. haha.
Also, We had an exchanges with Elder Mendoza and Elder Romualdo last Thursday. My companion was Elder Mendoza. We worked in our area.
It was a wonderful experience. Elder  Mendoza is one of he District Leaders in our Zone. He's a good missionary. He's a positive person, and loves to eat street foods. haha.
Last Saturday, 4 Baptismal Interviews happened all over our zone.
One of our investigator, (Rowena Galvan) She was interviewed by Elder Quinzon, Elder Quinzon is our District Leader. She passed the interview.
We interviewed 2 investigators of Elder Mendoza and Elder Romualdo in their area.
Both passed the interview. Lastly, We interviewed the investigator of Elder Faasavalu. and He passed too.
Baptisms are happening this week.
We are blessed with valiant and hard working missionaries in our Zone, They truly know their purpose.
I Love the missionaries in our Zone!
Elder Naylor is still awesome! He cares a lot for me, and every missionary in our Zone too.
That's all for today,
Love:

Marvelous!

Hello Everyone!

Well,
A lot of things happened last week...
We spent a lot of time in the Computer doing the Zone Reports last Monday.
My companion did it, because I am new and still need to observe how it's done.
Also, last Wednesday was my 20th Birthday!!! Aaagh! I feel so old!
The night before my birthday, Elder Naylor put a lot of sticky notes all over our apartment while I was asleep. I woke up the next day, and started seeing them in every corner of the house. I have a picture attached in this letter.
He even surprised me with the help of our Zone, (He gathered all our Zone mates) and they sang Happy Birthday to me after the meeting.
It was sweet of him. Oh, How I love this guy...
Celebration was wonderful!!! I am grateful for the life that God has given me.
And I am forever grateful for those who made a big impact in my life.
I think without this 2 years of voluntary service as God's servant my 20 years of living in this planet would be boring pr in other words this 2 years of me being a missionary completed the missing piece of my life. This is home for me. I Love serving others, and seeing them change because of what you do.

Cabanatuan Zone is filled with mighty missionaries... Base on my observations.
The missionaries in this Zone works really hard, and is totally focused in their purpose as a missionary. Some of the areas in our Zone are still struggling because both of the missionaries are new in the area. But, overall The Zone is working hard for July and August...

Our area here is totally different in my last area.
I miss the Bukid (Farm) area. But I am learning to love the City.
I can see a big potential here. There's so many people! Oh my gosh!
So many people to talk to, compared to my last area. Elder Naylor and I had a great week of finding new investigators. besides doing some Zone businesses.

Elder Naylor and I are working hard in one of our investigator that is going to be baptized on July 13, She's a part member, and Her husband is deaf and is a member of the Church.
For me Her husband defines the word "Language"
We invited him to one of our lessons with a different investigator because we don't have a male present for the lesson. Elder Naylor and I finished teaching our Investigators, We stared at the deaf brother, and He started sharing his thoughts, and testified How reading the Scripture will bless their lives.
That was the highlight of my week. Sharing the Gospel doesn't mean you need to use every body senses that you have. The only thing that you need is the Holy Ghost.
That Brother strengthened my testimony of the power that the Holy Ghost can bring to our Lives...

That's all for today...
Please Do good things!

*One of our pictures was with the Senior Couple Missionaries, The Whitings, and The Pugh's. We helped them with the process of the apartment of the new senior couple missionaries that is going on our Mission. They treat us lunch after the business. That's so nice of them.

Heavy Heart!

Hello sa lahat!

Well... This is gonna be short.
2 of our investigators came to church yesterday. It was great! Their fellow shippers sat down beside them during the sacrament and classes. They have felt the spirit. That is what they said when we visited them last night...
Transfer Week is this coming Wednesday. I do not have any idea what's gonna happen...
Transfers are from the Lord's will. I am just hoping that I still get one more transfer with my trainee.
I really love being with Elder Mecham. I have learned a lot of lessons from him.
He is a great missionary. Loves to work, and is filled with attributes of Christ...
That is all for today...
Well, I have no pictures to send for this week.
Also, My birthday is coming close!!! It's on the 29th of June...
So, you better send your gifts now. haha. just kidding.

Mahal ko kayong lahat!!!

Hello!
Well,I feel like my companion and I pressed a restart button last week.
Last Tuesday we started to move to our new apartment. We woke up and started packing and cleaning our old house. (It is important to clean the house before you leave, I don't wanna hear any complaints from our last landlord)
It was a tiring day for us. Luckily our branch president came and helped us.He's the best!
Well, right after we arrived to our new apartment, we started cleaning and putting every stuff we have which took us a day to finish. I am getting tired of cleaning houses now.

A month ago, me and my companion got sick on and off...
We found out what's the problem. It was our Water Filter!!!
We received our New Water Filters and replaced it, we were both surprised how disgusting the old filter was. good thing it didn't get worse. It's good to have clean water filters again!

Last Thursday, We had our Zone Conference. we slept over at the Zone Leaders apartment (wednesday night). And we left san jose like 5:40. I don't like waking up that early! But the purpose was good, so it's worth it. I Love Zone Conferences! My companion and I was filled with faith, hope, and motivations that we desperately need in our area.
President Clark broke his foot, but still continued to preside and teach us that Day.
He's an amazing man! I look up to him a lot.
We have been blessed by wonderful and spiritual leaders in our Mission.
I Love being a Missionary!!!

Also, Last Thursday, I celebrated my 3rd Year anniversary as a member of the Church!!!
I cannot count the changes and blessings that has happened to my life.
The Gospel blesses the lives of individuals and families, I testify of that.
I know that this is Christ's Church, I know that the Book Of Mormon is another Testament of the Savior.

Yesterday I taught  Sunday School in the branch we're serving. I always feel nervous but the Spirit helped me deliver the lesson. I kinda have a feeling of taking education after my mission. I don't know yet, But I already love teaching people!!! haha.
The Branch members joked at me and said that they wanted me to be their Sunday School Teacher forever. I don't know about that...

My trainee's training's almost done. So, next week will be transfer day. It is crazy fast!!!
12 weeks was super fast. I have seen my trainee grow, It is amazing to see his skills developed, and spirit strengthens. I Love Elder Mecham, He is an example to me.
Hope, I get to stay here for another transfer...

Well, that's all for today.

TIME (Things I May Enjoy)

Short one for today...
My email for today is late, because my companion and I went to Tarlac (2-3 hours away from our area). We went there for my CLS test. (It's like a language test)
My English skills was tested. hahah. I don't like answering the questions, but it was fun.
Last Saturday we Our Stake here, had a Stake One Day Mission Activity. (Combined activity with members and some missionaries of the Stake)
It was a wonderful activity. We went to a mountainous area. It was awesome! I was assigned to be with a male member for that day, and he's from Lupao!!! hahaha. it's like a little reunion. This area has no Missionary work background, there's no Church in this area or missionaries. We went to 3 barangays of this one municipality and started the work going. The people there was incredible. they welcomed us warmly, and gave their wide warm smiles to us. Every family and individual that we met in that area was excited to hear from us, and wanted us to come back for more, they are truly looking for the Gospel, they are spiritually thirsty and hungry.. I am lucky to be a part of that activity. It rekindled my excitement when I first heard the restored gospel.
I Love Missionary Work! It connects people together.
Also, Last Wednesday I was able to have an exchanges with Elder Valdez (he is part of my district). He is my batch coming here in the field and going home as well. It was weird. haha. I enjoyed it though. We were talking about our time left, and how fast our 2 years was.
Now, We are still struggling in our area. STRUGGLING IN FINDING INVESTIGATORS...
I hope that this coming week will be a good one.
Tomorrow, We are moving to our new apartment. We are super excited, it has AC! (Air conditioned room). and what's best? it is located to our focus area, and it is super close to the Church.
It's gonna be a busy day tomorrow, and on Thursday we will have our zone conference. this is going to be a very busy week.
My trainee and I are down to our 11th week of training! Close to the finish line!!!
That is all for today!
Mahal ko Kayo!
